Dale Fellows

Dale H. Fellows is a graduate of Mayfield High School, Lakeland Community College, and Kent State University.  He has also attended Cleveland State University for graduate studies.

Dale’s love of history, especially the founding of our nation, began early in his life and was enhanced by his study of economics & politics at Lakeland, Kent State, and CSU.  He has read extensively over the years about the lives and times of our Founding Fathers, especially George Washington the Father of our Country.  He and his wife Nancy are regular visitors to Colonial Williamsburg even owning a home in the area.  They also visit Mount Vernon whenever their schedule permits, including doing research in the Library at Mount Vernon.

Dale started his re-enacting of President George Washington in 2013 after several years of encouragement from his friends in the historical group “We Made History”.  Coupled with his passion for having the true history or our Country, its’ founders, and George Washington brought back to northeast Ohio, so wonderfully portrayed in Colonial Williamsburg, Dale was finally convinced that the best way to share his knowledge and understanding of the great man is through re-enactment. Dale would also like to thank Mr. Ron Carnegie, who so incredibly portrays George Washington in Colonial Williamsburg, for the generosity of his time and advice that was so freely given when asked.
